Workforce Developers

CareerRise is seeking proposals for Metro-Atlanta Training Providers to offer high demand industry programs at Westside Works. Services must meet employment demand for one or more of the following industries and services: Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technology, Skilled Trades, Hospitality, Healthcare, or Transportation, Distribution and Logistics (TDL). Partnerships should incorporate effective approaches to enable low-skill, incumbent workers and/or job seekers to enter and advance in career pathways leading to family-sustaining wages.

All proposals will meet the following guidelines:

• Program Overview: Detailed description of the program including curriculum outline, current marketing material, market demand. Highlight both entry level and advance career pathway skills and credentials offered.
• Employer Engagement: Documented involvement of employers in the project and a description of their role and commitment. Please note that general advisory roles are generally not considered sufficient involvement.
• Program Experience: Successful job training and employment programs are vital solutions to fulfill workforce needs. Describe your outcome goals for job seekers and/or incumbent employees. Include numeric goals such as total # of cohorts delivered, total number of participants served, enrolled, completed (%), placed (%), retention intervals (%): 90th day, 120th day, 365th day of employment, average wages, and list the industry-recognized credentials earned.

CareerRise is seeking proposals for Metro-Atlanta Workforce Providers to offer Career Services onsite at Westside Works beginning July 1, 2022.

The qualified Workforce Agency will be responsible for the coordination of career advisement and job readiness services to 1,000+ Westside Work customers annually to appropriate job development resources. These activities include:

• Outreach, Intake, and Eligibility determination;
• Comprehensive skills and career assessments;
• Career planning, career advisement and coaching;
• Information on supportive services and community resources;
• Career and Job Ready, Soft Skills training;
• Provision of labor market information on in demand occupations and employment opportunities;
• Information and assistance with establishing eligibility for financial aid and assistance for educational programs other than WIOA;
• Connection to employment programs and services to include Job Shadowing, Job Coaching, On The Job Training, Incumbent Worker Training, Apprenticeships and Job Placement Services.
